Ms R. Durber - Reception Manager
Oversees the running of the GP reception and front of house and is responsible for:

- Dealing with all front desk enquiries
- Answering the main practice telephone line
- Making appointments
- Registering Patients & Updating patient details
- Sending patient letters
- Making up new patient notes
- Many other general administration duties

Mrs Michele Matthee - Practice Manager BSc (Open)
Michele has been at the Practice since 1996; she is responsible for all financial aspects of the Practice budget and other resources. She also works at a strategic level, anticipating the resourcing and budgetary requirements of the Practice over the coming year and beyond. Michele also sits on the Locality Commissioning Board.
Michele took over as Practice Manager in 2014, she heads the practice team of nearly 40 nursing and ancillary staff. She oversees the organisation and smooth running of the Practice.
Mr Joe Duxberry - IT Supervisor
Joe is responsible for all the IT equipment within the Practice, administering the patient database, this website and other online services. His other duties are related to data quality, inputting and auditing. He started at the Practice in 2001 and is dedicated to the modernising of the IT infrastructure used in the running and organising of the Practice.
Mrs Megan McLaughlin - Management Assistant
Megan is assistant to the Practice Manager, and is responsible for co-ordinating the doctors' rotas, maintaining and updating the appointment system as well as other general administrational duties. She started at the Practice in 2008.

2 Secretaries
Our secretaries carry out the word-processing of all GP referral letters as well as other ad-hoc letters to patients, hospitals or other outside agencies.
They also complete xray cards and fax emergency referrals as well as taking minutes at meetings and a variety of other admin tasks.
7 Clerical/Admin Assistants
Responsible for our continuing push to become 'paper-lite'. They scan all paper medical documents, be they hospital letters or in-house generated ones, onto the clinical computer system. For ease of retrieval anywhere in the Practice.
They are also responsible for 'coding' all pertinent and important medical diagnoses, operations and medical histories from incoming hospital letters and other medical documents onto the clinical system.
They also summarise all incoming new patient notes so that the GP or Nurse has a good overview of a patients medical history prior to them joining the Practice.
They 'code' all relevant and important non-diagnostic information. e.g lab results and other tests, general health information such as BPs, smoking and alcohol intake as well as allergies. This information is taken from all incoming clinical mail.
They also take responsibility for the follow-up of post-natal women, the recording of Cervical Cytology results and the maintaining and follow up of non-responder lists, refusals and exclusions.
Insurance/Admin Clerk
Responsible for the booking in, out and distribution to relevant GPs of any Medical Reports, Insurance Reports, Solicitors Reports and any copying of notes or invoicing that maybe required.
Apprentices
We currently employ 1 apprentice in admin,they are training in an NVQ qualification whilst working here on their placement.
