Coronavirus Vaccination for patients registered at Drayton Medical Practice

Further to our answerphone message, there is no need to contact the practice to make an appointment to be vaccinated.

In keeping with the government directives on prioritising patients, we will be contacting individual patients as the vaccine is rolled out in a phased way. When you receive an invitation to book, please act on it, and ensure you attend your appointment when it is arranged.

Whilst we are grateful to the Health Authority for their arranging the current provision of vaccine appointments at Oswestry, we are aware that travel time and distance is not ideal.

Our staff have been contributing to the vaccination programme, giving the vaccine to Shropshire’s 80+ year olds.

We remain keen to work with the Health Authority to develop a more local vaccination service as soon as the opportunity arises, and await their direction and provision of vaccines to us at Drayton Medical Practice.

We are keen to draw on our experience of running a successful annual flu campaign to allow our patients to receive the covid vaccination in a time manner
